Ok, let's use this thread for everyone who wants to apply for a press pass accreditation.

If you want to go to an event, name the event here, next to your name.

If we can get a list (maybe from Wallet's thread or something), then we can just mark off who is going to which - if someone wants to go.

I'll get you all CHB emails. In the Welcome thread can you tell me your desired email address please?

I'm sorting the emails out now.

I'm limiting press passes to mods/admins/writers only for now - we've not had any yet, I want to keep a bit of quality control on people who'll represent CHB as a brand well.

Is there any fight(s) that I can apply for now - to get the ball rolling?

Just name the fight and I'll apply.

Meh, I'd just like to get us started, seems like more and more establishments/boxers etc. have started to come around to us in the last couple of weeks - so think it's a good time to capitalise on all that.

@Jay can you explain this to me mate? Going to events?
We might be able to get press passes soon so basically If there's an event you want to go to and cover for CHB you could get a press pass which gets you decent seats and access to the press conferences and stuff. You'd have to take notes and make a write up of the night including the undercard fights etc.

You'd just have to name the event in here and then Jay or someone will apply for the pass in your name.

So far we haven't started getting any but apparently it's not that hard.

Yeah it's good experience mate. You basically sit in the front row with all the other journalists and note down what happens. I'll be more than happy to talk anyone through it as I've done two of them now.

This is my article for the Hearn card last week:

http://checkhookboxing.com/showthread.php?3655-Article-Untelevised-Undercard-from-the-London-Olympia

It's just the undercard fights, as the article would have been too long to publish. But basically, the more important the fight, the more detail you go into. Like my Callum Smith write up as small in comparison to Camacho vs Miles

Think the next show I can make is the Sunday 24 February card in Leicester, featuring Louis Norman and Jahmaine Smyle who was in the super middle prizefighter a while back. Happy to do a write up on the show.

I'd like to apply for press privileges on the Leicester card I mentioned a couple of posts back. Do you sort out the press passes @Jay, or shall I email the promotion team myself?
