SUMMER RUMBLE 2’, WATCH THE WEIGH-IN
The North East will break records on July 15 at Sunderland’s Stadium of light, with ‘Summer Rumble 2’ showcasing an incredible 17 fights making it the biggest professional boxing bill ever staged in the region.
Headlining is former world title challenger Jason Booth vs. hard hitting Irishman Willie ‘Big Bang’ Casey for the WBA European super-bantamweight title. While chief support sees Hartlepool prospect Peter Cope stepping in with Redcar's experienced Gavin Reid for the International Masters super-bantamweight crown. Also appearing will be fighters from across the North East including Dave Dolan, Paul Archer, Mark Clauzel, David Lake, Rob Ismay, Craig Dixon, Waqas Mohammed, Shafiq Chubzy Asif, Greg O'Neill, Lee Mould, Anthony 'Babyface' Nelson, Callum Winton, David Ferguson Jnr, Glenn Foot, and Tommy Ward.
All media, and members of the public, are warmly invited to attend the weigh-in for the show which will take place at the Queen Vic Hotel, Harbour View Road, Roker, Sunderland (SR6 0PQ) on Saturday July 14 at 3.30pm. Stepping on the scales will be the boxers from the two bill-topping bouts; Jason Booth, Willie Casey, Peter Cope and Gavin Reid.
