WBC heavyweight champ Vitali Klitschko will lace on the gloves for the last time on September 1 in Kiev, Ukraine against Syrian born Manuel Charr.

Kilitschko, 44-2, who will be 41 years old when he faces Charr expected to then devote most of his time involved in politics, with parliamentary elections set for October 28.

It is a fitting end to a career that has seen him lose just twice, both because of injury or cuts. A crowed of 70,000 is expected to see their hero fight one last time.

The 27 year-old Charr is unbeaten with a 21-0 professional record.

I'm a fan of the Klitschkos as some of you may know, but I reckon this is worse than the Mormeck debacle. I honestly would have liked Vitali to have given Solis a rematch if Solid had come back in decent shape, but a bloated 260lbs Solis is still a far better fight than this.

What I dread most though is Haye running his mouth about it should he beat Chisora.
