If the fights at 175lbs i'll look forward to it, If at 168 then it looses it's appeal to me as Dawson IMO will lose his advantages and will be draining himself to a weight he himself cannot be 100% sure is a good fighting weight. Then again maybe same for Ward coming up in weight but it's more realistic that in future he will fight there then Dawson so get it on plus i want to see Ward out of his comfort zone for once!.
I'm full of admiration for both guys, Both are extremely skilled and i love way Ward breaks down his foes. Dawson is like a talented enigma who needs waking up and motivating. I remember when he let his hands go late on against Pascal. My word he looked sensational but was to little to late in the end.
It's a match up for the pugilists, it's not gonna be a brawl more a technical exhibition the problem is if Ward gets to work early he could well shut the show down without any risks being taken. Dawson's the guy that can make this exciting because he's a little more loose in his attitude towards fighting although his attitude is 'not get hit, then hit'. He's fiery and doesn't mind tearing up. He's also the bigger puncher of the two and throws more combinations where as Ward's very precise and quick and rarely punches beyond 3 in a bunch.
I think it will be entertaining from my POV, but it's all about preference. I find it a intriguing battle.
