Boxrec News have just published the fact that Frank has changed his company name from Frank Warren Promotions Ltd to W. Promotions Ltd.

Does seem strange to change such a well known name in the Boxing World to such an uninspiring new name.

The accounts are fairly dismal reading though, showing a defecit of over £3.66 million. Let's hope that things pick up for the newly named company in 2013.

He has done this before hasn't he when his previous company flopped? He had Sports Network before it went into administration, after which he started up as Frank Warren Promotions Ltd. Could be mistaken though.

Either way, net deficit of nearly £4 million doesn't sound good for ol' Franky.

Fair point, not exactly a moment of inspiration when picking the new name. Don't know why he feels that it will make any difference.
