So they've not announced anything, it's just a mass pat on the back to all his fighters and speculation about who they may fight next? Why? :patsch

I hear that instead of Liam Walsh they're looking at drafting in the Green Lantern from the DC Universe to take on Ricky Burns. The Green Lantern will not be able to make use of his power ring and Ricky will not be permitted to use his laser-beam eye sight under the Queensberry rules.

It's also been rumoured that Ricky is terrified of his one true weakness. No, not Kryptonite, but a legitimate lightweight challenger outside of Africa or the East end of London.

tbf if it's just a tune-up its not a terrible fight, kind of, maybe, but in all honesty Walsh should be nowehere near a "world" title, but if Burns is keeping busy then fighting a big name in February (he's capable of beating anyone but whether Warren will allow this is a different matter) then I'm not actually too gutted about this fight, it is what it is.
