Broner will have allot of options should he beat Mallignaggi. Go back to 135lbs, face his mandatory then try to entice another belt holder into a unification, stay at 147lbs, or move down to 140lbs. I can't imagine him going back to 135 unless he loses as all the money fighters are higher up.

Politics. Still not gonna happen. This is just so Broner can keep hold of a belt going into the Malignaggi fight. Worst comes and Broner loses, then I guess he may go back down and defend it but even then I'd expect him to go another route than this.
