What did you think of Broner's performance?

As you all know, Broner defeated Vicente Escobedo on Saturday night. I'm watching it right now and I was impressed by Broner's handspeed and overall strength. He was walking Escobedo down the whole time and his handspeed was quite impressive. When he unleashed his combinations they did damage and he was pressing the action all night.
Escobedo wasn't without his little moments however. At times he would counter Broner or rip shots to the body, though they were few and far between.

What was your opinion? How far do you think Broner will go?

Thought you knew? I'm a hater with no reason to dislike 'modern' boxing other than to appear cooler than I actually am.
I know nothing. Before this place I barely even so much as looked outside GTMSBT - honestly, in this place, I recognise names but for the most part I don't know anything about any of you. I'm constantly having to ask Wallet, Pabby etc. for the lowdown.
@super Abu tights Exactly  That's what they'd say ;)

:rofl leavin' that typo in! iPhone autocorrect!

Furry muff.

Well I never!
I genuinely don't see the big deal with him at all.

the best guy he fought made him look quite pedestrian. his next best opponent is litzau who has been shown to be chinny in the past with that stupid ko loss early doors and his domination against the ghost.

I'd put him as underdog against the winner of burns-mitchell. if he does win that fight though I'd probably favour him over an Lw out there.
I think he is the best lightweight currently, I think he'll handle both Mitchell and Burns without too much hastle.
I must be the only person who rates him. He's not the next Mayweather or anything like it but he is a quality fighter. Everyone hating him is just a natural reaction to the hype.

I rate him mate......Only gonna get better as he goes up the weight and gains more experience.
Broner will stop both Burns and Mitchell.
I look forward to seein him fight someone his own size.

Yeah even before last weekends fiasco, I always thought he had a huge size advantage, it should even things out a little but I still favour him over alot of guys his size.

I wouldn't. Not sold on his application at all. Not sure he'll be banging out the bigger guys and as a boxer he's pretty wank. Maybe cutting less weight will give him a chance to sharpen up, but I'd like to see him at light welter.

Yeah 140 will be nice, I like him over alot of the top guys in the division there, will be interesting to see how he fills out, probably pretty well most young black athletic type boxers do.
I think he's shown he's more effective on the front foot, attacking than trying to be a Mayweatherian defensive fighter.

Heard that about Hearns too.

Worst argument ever. Hearns had a height advantage, not weight. It was different back then, you couldn't come in 2 stone heavier on fight night like you can now.

Hearns never got an opponent to agree to a weight class and then didn't bother to cut down himself either.
What a daft comment.

Definitely.

He's nowhere near as slick as he thinks he is.
