Seems like a few are taking a Froch win for granted, let's not forget kessler knows how to beat froch. And has more at stake saying he'll retire if he loses

What happens if kessler wins the fight?

Would we see kessler vs ward 2?

For a 60/40 fight, 80% of people are picking Froch
I think it's a more a case of 80% of people being 60% confident in Froch, rather than 80% being sure if you get what I mean. Im picking Froch (shock) but it's by no means a done deal, this is a tough tough fight, he's going to need possibly his best performance to win. I dont buy into Kessler being shot tbh

If Froch was to lose then retirement could well be a serious option. He looks to have enough interests outside of boxing to keep him busy so it's not as if he needs to fight on. I don't think it's something to take for granted at all, it's a very tough fight and a defeat could definitely be the end for Froch.

If Kessler wins he has a few options. He'd have the option of an easy-ish homecoming fight against pretty much anyone. But I'm not sure those fights are what he'd want at this stage. I think a Ward rematch would be likely and I'd like to see it as well. Their first fight was borderline disgraceful IMO.

If everyone agreed it was 60/40 then 100% would be picking Froch.
Yeah, this.

I made that mistake a few weeks ago of wondering why the poll was so one sided, then I realised that 'who people think will win' and 'how much chance they give the other fighter' are different questions.

As it gets closer and having rewatched the first fight i'm starting to doubt Froch's chances more and more. As of right now I think ignoring my heart I think Kessler should win this if he's still as good as he was in the first fight.

I can't remember who said it (possibly DFT) but I also think Kessler from the Calzaghe fight gives Carl an absosoute hammering.

I dont think anybody has been taking kessler for granted, the word 'if' has always been in there. But if either lose its retirement. I think kessler said on behind the ropes (might have misheard) that he's retiring win or lose?

Froch loses on points, Groves cranks up the volume after an impressive win and you have a big domestic money spinning fight ready made? Froch demands Groves to take on a top 10 fighter to earn a shot first maybe, but the demand would be there.
