I voted too many belts. I feel if there was only 1 belt in each division and 1 recognised champion, everybody would be wanting that title and promotional issues would be brushed aside for the shot at the only title. If the one champion in the division started fighting bums, he'd be stripped. Also, I feel boxing would be more accepted in the mainstream as there would be more focus on the world champion in each division and people would recognise them and remember who the champion is.

I went for promoters blocking fights because I want to see the best fighting the best and feel that the sport could be massive again if the promoters took more risks and made the fights.

Good reasoning mate, i was thinking about that one too. Imagine if Pac - May had came off in 2009? Can you picture how many new fans there would have been?
I'm sure there are many other examples and that big fights like that being made would generate interest into mainstream boxing.

Boxing needs an international regulator, not a commission, but a not-for-profit that oversees the sport, enforces mandatories and protects fighters.

I think the problem can be summed up in two words- boxing politics. That encompasses most of those choices in the poll.

Boxing is still great though. Every era has its issues, every era gets slated until it's over then all of a sudden everyone misses it.

But yeah, boxing politics, perpetual problem that won't go away. It stops fights from happening, puts too many belts in circulation, has judges doing bad things. I hate boxing politics with a passion.

One thing I think is shit though is that we don't have 15 rounds any more. Having to go the extra 5 to be a champion is much more difficult than having to the extra 2.
