Well? Where does he go now?

I'm a bit irked because of the robbery against Helenius mostly. I don't want Del Boy to fall into the background and just get stuck in the domestic circuit for the remainder of his career. I want him in the big fights, and tonight he showed what heavyweight boxing is all about. Great build up, fantastic fight, and a decisive KO.

Yeah, Chisora has been ressurecting the heavys in the last year with all his might, some quality fights. Helenius will be back inside 6 months I think, will take a softer opponent after the lay-off first, but after that he'll be gunning for a second fight with Chisora. Think Chisora-Helenius II will happen in the spring of 2013.

McDonalds stay open late on Saturdays :deal
Chisora is good for heavyweight boxing. :bart
Fury, Vitali, Haye and Helenius fights were all entertaining, and Dereck has genuine personality and makes for good, entertaining build-ups and fights. The division would be a lesser place without him.

Nah I like Chisora :good

Hopefully he gets given a decent rest but not too long. I get the feeling he's the type of guy that needs motivation and too long out of the ring would just harm him long term IMO. I like the Price fight but not quite sure it should happen just yet. Helenius rematch is a good one too.

If Del keeps on improving, he can definitely get some big fights again in future.

The licensing thing is an issue. What irked me about the original license withdrawal was that it was a cop-out. Hopefully now the Board are under less public scrutiny they will draw a line under the whole thing with a 6 month ban which lets him get rest and also allows him to resume his career.

In terms of fights I think he needs to have a soft one and then look for the right fights at European level. Another big fight would be a hard sell given his current form even if it doesn't reflect his efforts in those fights.

I agree, the majority of the casuals will just spout shit about him being a fat bum, can't beat anybody, etc. But the reality is he's pretty good. Obviously not at the elite of the heavyweight division as proven by Vitali and Haye, but he's good enough to give the others a good go. He clearly beat Helenius, could beat Povetkin, and Pulev.

this ^^

and price will have the incentive to do him quicker than haye did so maybe he can set up a big money match with haye
Would be a decent scrap the one issue I see with Chisora is that unlike Price/Fury/Haye he has no fanbase.I think he is destined to be an opponent all through his career fighting on the other guys show and pretty much bought in to lose.

I don't think it'd be a good idea to throw him in with Price. He's had plenty of tough fights, let him build his confidence with an easy one.

I agree that he should get one or two easy fights under his belt, some more experience and time to perfect his style, he has the potential to be a good pressure inside fighter but he still needs time to work on it imo.

I just hope he doesn't get blackballed, who's gonna want to go near a nutter with a 15-4 record, high risk low reward fighter.

He needs to get back to domestic level.

He has lost at every possible level within the last year and whilst it is admirable that he is willing to take a hard fight he won't get anymore after last night.

Over the next year I would have him out every 10 weeks and would put him in against, in order, John McDermott, Sam Sexton, Matt Skelton, Audley Harrison and Tyson Fury. If he is to achieve anything in this sport then he should be able to beat all of them and the sequence of fights allows him to develop as a fighter as well.

Chisora is still an improving fighter, he has a good but under-used jab, a decent chin & a lot of heart.

Id like to see him take it easy for his next few fights, take on domestic level opponents but with the licensing issues he has I dont know if thats possible. I just hope his talent is given a little more time to develop before he's involved in another big fight.

He can do well fighting all the other fighters in the division, especially in America... Its not A tough division really, He just needs to listen and take advice not do things his own way...

I wanna see him have A rematch with Tyson Fury to, I cant believe He lost to that cunt...
