Hopkins is defending his new IBF strap against Karo Murat on July 13th, in a fight most expect him to win. Assuming he does get through that, who would you like Bernard to fight next?

He shouldn't be short of options, with the likes of Nathan Cleverly, Carl Froch and Mikkel Kessler among many other names interested in the fight. Add in the likes of Andre Ward, Lucian Bute and Jean Pascal also possible as well as perhaps a run up at a cruiserweight title.

But where would you like to see the 48 year old wonder go with is career next?

Into retirement. Most of Bernard's fights bore me to tears. Time to hang them up.
Really? Some of his fights have been dull admittedly (Dawson etc), but I was completely in awe when I saw him break down the likes of Pavlik, Pascal and Cloud. If he could do that once more it would get even more impressive.

I dont think he should make such a huge life choice like retirement based on whether he entertains you or not ;)
Fair enough. I think he's done well by the money he's made over the years, still has his faculties, and is not going to wind up like Holyfield, boxing to hold off the debt collectors. I've heard him commentating during fights and he could very easily slip into an announcers position if the opportunity arose.

I just hate seeing boxers hang around too long with so many of them facing their senior years with their mind in a fog. He's not there yet, and hopefully will never be, but it is a young man's sport for the most part.
