Which fight will be tough for Joshua?

Toughest is haye no doubt, followed by chisora and then Scott, who wouldn't be able to do anything to trouble Joshua stylistically. he should fight chisora next

Joshua vs Chisora is a shit fight. The guy is done.

I fucking hate Chisora since he's become media friendly tbh.

If Haye has anything left, then it's him. Otherwise...all three are a bit dud.

I think the opposite,mate. Reckon his movement could trouble AJ for a few rounds. Maybe the same number of rounds Whyte took him. Unless he mentally folded before the fight in which case its a Wilder style knock over.

And Haye would be too old and not big enough. Provided Hearn isn't silly enough to take the fight next Summer after Haye has had his warm up and AJ has only had one more fight also. A couple of fights against movers,maybe one being Scott,and he shocks Haye by doing what Fury would have done to him.

David,as the thread starter and an American,how do you see this? Do you see Chisora as past best? I do. Do you think Haye will be as good as he was before? I don't.

I can see where coming from, but don't think he's movement is good enough, think he'll get trapped in the ropes, also think he'll get shook before the fight unlike haye and chisora, I'll pick Joshua to take out Scott in 4, even if he takes it chisora before then I see chisora having more success whilst it lasts

I think it's impossible to say, because AJ just learned a HUGE lesson last week.

You can bet he's in the gym right now, working on his (now painfully obvious, even to him) deficiencies. He might even be shopping for a new trainer. I would be, if I were him, or at least looking for a top S&C coach. (I mean a real one, with actual credentials.)

So, who knows what AJ might be like, 2-3 fights from now?

I have (obviously, & to put it mildly) never been an AJ fan, due to all the ridiculous hype, his gift decisions in the ams, and his "even worse than Wilder's" level of pro opposition. However, we have just entered a new era: The era of a genuinely humble & realistic Joshua, and a Joshua who can no longer get away with fighting "guys who lost to cans that lost to cabbies."

Fair assessment mate.

Joshua looked flat footed with no legs in the Whyte fight. It's the first time I wasn't really impressed with his performance. Based on that, if Haye is still anywhere close to his top form, he'll give Joshua a ton of trouble, might even stop him.

Joshua easily KO's the other jabronies.

My thoughts on the Whyte fight quite similar to yours,except the word that comes to me is crude. Never seen either man look so much so. Joshua has never been a fancy dan,but every time Ive seen him,including in the amateurs,he has kept his boxing together. Not this time. I wasn't surprised to see Whyte looking cruder than usual,AJ was a massive jump from his previous opponents. But Joshuas boxing ability wasn't there at all. One thing I WAS impressed with was his finishing ability: in a lot of previous fights he's not been allowed to show this. Regarding the crudeness,Im taking a bit of encouragement by thinking this can be worked on. For example,Deontay Wilders boxing has looked a little neater than it was,notably against Stiverne. Im hoping so. It would be nice for GB to have TWO of the best heavyweights in the world.

But regarding your statement about Haye. I was proud of Haye in what was his best heavyweight fight with Valuev,but if AJ cannot be a better fighter than the Russian in a year/18 months he's not the fighter I think he is. And Ive watched him from the amateurs. Plus I don't expect Haye to be the same fighter he was 4 years ago. I don't see even de Mori being the blow out many are predicting. I slightly favour Jennings over Ortiz but if Ortiz wins he is gonna be a danger,particularly in the next year or so. Then you've got Teper. According to Bunce on his podcast theres 2 Americans barely out of their teens who are coming up. The division could well become wide open soon without the old guard.
