Not that I'm complaining about them about showing Ward v Dawson. I just mean why are they showing Ward v Dawson and not Martinez v Chavez Jnr which for spectators would be the better fight to watch. Does it come down to the simple fact that it was cheaper to show this fight than Martinez v Chavez Jnr or is it because Sky feel Froch could end up fighting Ward or Dawson in the future???

It'll be cheaper. Martinez/Junior is pay per view in America while Ward/Dawson isn't.

I assume it's because Ward/Dawson is the same night as Bellew.

tbh i'm just pleased that it's been picked up. Ward is a bit of a name over here too after the Froch fight. I don't think it was one or the other so just be pleased that we at least get to watch a fight that looked like it wasn't going to be picked up.

I would much prefer sergio and jnr but showing a fight between the no.6 p4p (on my list) and the best LHW in the world is a good thing

Cheaper would be my guess. No "Head of Boxing" (or whatever the job title is) would choose that fight over Martinez-Chavez....I hope!!
