So this is what this place has turned into-----post after post between @Philly Shell and @Ar558a nipping at each other's asses with an ongoing feud between two keyboard warriors.

You are both acting like you are in your teens in your mom's basement waiting for her to come down with Pizza Rolls.

You two either need to meet in a Sonic parking lot to settle this or get a room and kiss and make up. This shit's getting old.

I will point out, I didn't start this, I just want to talk about boxing and say what I think but others continually attack me personally rather than respectfully disagree. If people leave me alone I will leave them alone but if you think I'm just gonna take abuse and say nothing then you are sadly mistaken.

I don't read through long drawn out internet feuds to see who "started it". I just know with a fair amount of certainty that two people probably wouldn't be going back and forth like this face to face, but the internet, and its anonymity allows these things to reach levels most civilized people wouldn't try to maintain.

Hopefully, one, or both of you can just let this drop or this could wind up being more and more page after page of sniping at each other, thus derailing the original thread into a personal war.

As you can see from the reaction above, some people won't stop under any circumstances, I have therefore put him on ignore, that should alleviate the issue.
That was going to be my next bit of advice. All the years I've been active in this site, I've never put anyone on "Ignore" but have been tempted a few times. Usually cooler heads prevail, or one or the other simply refuses to keep the situation going. Kind of take the proverbial "High Road" if you will.

I watched this last night. I wasn’t rooting against Wilder but I was disappointed because I wanted it to go at least a couple of decent rounds, especially since I got a good free stream

How this fight was $75 is a huge mystery to me.

And that's the problem I have with so many of the fights being aired today. Everybody thinks they are worthy of PPV status. That internet ass clown Jake Paul fighting nobodies, Floyd Mayweather fighting less than nobodies, Wilder who's record for his last 5 fights is 3-2-1 all on PPV.

The biggest shock of that fight from the small clip I saw was Helenius getting KO'd by a counter left hook that didn't look to be all that well thrown from the angle of the video clip in this thread.

The above clip and its angle posted you could say is an optical illusion. The left hook was a follow up punch and it actually missed. The right hand landed right on the button.

Here is a different angle.

Now that makes more sense. I had a hard time believing what looked like an arm punch left hook KO'ing a guy that easily.

Did he get a long count in the first fight in your opinion?
If I remember correctly, Wilder would not stay in a neutral corner when told to do so by the referee so that delayed the count to some degree, but well within the rules of boxing.

I scored that fight in favor of Fury and that 12th round knockdown gave the judges just enough reason to make it a draw.

And I've been watching boxing long enough to know some refs count slightly faster or slower than others. I'm pretty sure I've seen some refs reach a 10 count in about 8 seconds real time.

I didn't see anything wrong with the count.

Wilder's biggest mistake after that knockdown was reverting back to his wild windmill punching to try to end the fight. If he would have used more composure and measured his man, he may have gotten another clean shot, but those wild windmill punches are telegraphed so much they were easy to evade.
