Why is Ward above Martinez? Mikey above Danny? And the Igarashi/Uchiyama thing?

Sensible list though
Ward's opposition has been better than Martinez's over the last couple of years.

Mikey beat Salido who was ranked at 16th last month, so I gave him a good ranking this month.

Cotto - lost his last two. He shouldn't be that high as he keeps racking off losses. He should drop down a level ( just like you said Chisora should) before he is rated that high

Mares at 9 has beaten your current number 14, but is still below Carl Froch, who lost to your number 21

Hopkins hasn't won a fight for a year and a half, but you have him above Danny Garcia (who is a beloved Ring Champion)

I'll ask again, where's Roman Gonzalez?

Donaire > Ward

The thing is you cannot use completely set rules for ranking, like Ring Champion is worth a lot more than any other title etc. Comparing Cotto's last two losses and Chisora's is a bit of a joke. Chisora's has never beaten the level of opposition that Cotto has, his best win is Helenius who was nothing but hype, Chisora has lost comprehensively at British level, and we'll beaten at world level. He should be in the list, and his placing is about right.

I'm completely taking the piss in comparing them.

But burger boy said Chisora is ranked below frankie gavin and brian rose because he lost twice in a row at world level. Cotto has lost 3 of his last 6.

I think Cotto is about right. But the reasoning must be that he has mixed with world class company and performed well (ie Mayweather) rather than reaching those lofty heights based on Yuri Foreman and a one eyed Margarito

Cotto is in the bottom 10, he has dropped down a level or two because of his recent loss.

Mares at 9 has beaten your current number 14, but is still below Carl Froch, who lost to your number 21
Yes.

Yes.

When he beats someone good like Ioka then I'll rank him.

Donaire > Ward
I give the edge to Ward.

The Ring title is worth the most.

Okay. Here are my problems with the list. First off, and I know I'll catch hell here for it, Froch is being over rated. Your top 7 generally includes the consensus people. For me the following spaces should be 8: Mares, 9: Bradley, 10: Viloria and THEN froch at 11. Maybe if Froch beats kessler then you can put him at 8. Maybe.

Moreno is better than Gamboa. Gamboa has been inactive as fuck and looked shit last time out, coupled with him apparently being a drug cheat. So swap their places for me.

Moreno > Trout > Gamboa > Dawson (gamboa and dawson are swappable)

Matthysse > Bhop > Danny Garcia > Miguel Garcia

Then I don't have a problem with the rest.

For your top 10 though, Donaire > ward > JMM
