That's what I was thinking.

If Yafai is as good as people are making out, then he should be stepped up to a higher level than where he is currently. They should try and bring over Jerome Arnould for his next fight. Nice padded record, former 'world' title challenger, former French bantamweight champion etc. Plus, he simply isn't very good if we're being honest and isn't as dangerous as he would seem on paper. But beating someone like that in your 8th fight is making a statement - beating your run-of-the-mill Mexican journeyman isn't.

I don't think it is a terrible opponent though considering Kal's limited time in the pro ranks. I reckon we'll see a Booth fight not long after.

I read that as Genaro Garcia at first and thought Wow. Then, I looked at his record and saw my mistake.

Actually, Genaro Garcia would be quality. Probably too much of a step up now but in a year to 18 months time, that would be a sweet fight.

It's more the fact that Hearn said he was looking at people like Hall and Booth as opponents for Yafai a month or so ago, at least he's being kept busy.
