Hayes comeback of sorts has been a farce.

After losing to wlad he took about a year out and then came back to beat delboy.then took a year out and announced a fight with Manuel charr that was called off because of his hand,then fury which was called off because of a cut in training.and now this.

I would of loved to see this fight,but Hayes constant big talk and letting people down (punters who buy tickets and book hotels etc) means I think it's best he calls it a day.had a great career but I prefer to remember him as an ambitious youngster with fire in his belly than the salesman he has become.

The cut is definitely bollocks now. He has had shoulder problems and that was why the fight was called off. He should have been honest with Fury sooner, if I was Fury I would be mad at this tease.

Got to feel bad for Fury. Before Haye, he was due for a final eliminator for the Heavyweight title. He’s wasted a year and been left to start again from the bottom. Hope he can get back on track and doesn’t let it affect him.

In terms of Haye, i hope he does retire. Regardless of people’s thoughts of him, his career has been good for British boxing. I hope he does retire. He’ll no doubt get other lines of work.
