No. I say that in the OP. We are not talking about ancient Hopkins, certainly not the guy who fought Murat.
Cool. I'm with you in picking Hopkins. One might think he's easier to beat, but I don't think he's easier to hit. The cleanest Hopkins has been hit from my memory are against Jones and Pascal. Jones was a phenom and Pascal is an explosive guy fighting a much older Hopkins.

YEah, I don´t see where he was being hit against Echols for example (I heard that more than once).

Hopkins is easier to find, but his chin is always tucked and he has a better beard than Floyd, anyway. The younger version of Floyd was much more susceptible to leaving his chin up in the air during exchanges and he has never been one to just walk through shots.

This thread had a great question. I think the thing is what someone said about Hopkins thinking before the punch came and Mayweather as it came was accurate. Hopkins was never as fast as Mayweather, so his style and technique had to be perfect and he had to master certain skills which someone like Roy Jones Jr. could take for granted because of speed. I think because Floyd is faster and is defensive, I have to give it to Floyd when I really think about it. But Bernard is a close second.
