Overall it was pretty good. Loved the Froch KO which might make me a bit biased but I love a good come from behind victory which Mitchell did.

But that fucking Mars advert, must've been on 20 times last night!

I really enjoyed it, Mitchell-Maduma was a very good fight, DeGale put on a career-best performance, and the main event was looking very interesting until BOOM! McDonnell wasn't so great, at the same time, I think it's a bit harsh that he's getting so much flak, he's a good boxer, not at elite level, and not on form at the moment, but he has some very good wins, of course he doesn't deserve to be a 2-time world champion but it's his promoters who have got him those dubious shots, not him. Overall, a 7.5/10
I think the casuals will be happy, Britain has a new world champion and another guy, maybe 2 who are gonna win one in their next fight, and the fact that they were bored by the fight matters not when such an eye-catching KO happens

I'd give it 8/10 its certainly the best PPV I've ever bought but alot of room for improvements. My criticisms:

- Commentary was an utter disgrace so it loses marks there for Watt, Halling and the Robinson-Khan incident.

- Bad stoppage in De Gale - Gonzalez, terrible British refereeing again from Steve Gray

- No ringwalks barring Froch Groves and Joshua at half 6? Bullshit IMO Mitchell and James De Gale deserved to savour in their ring walk in that atmosphere was ridiculous they didnt get it.

They will have had ringwalks, just not televised.

I see but why werent they televised?
I'm not sure.i don't mind if it keeps the action flowing like last night, nothing worse than too many hold ups and I feel sky got it right last night.

They concentrated on the boxing and the event not talk and hype.it was on the whole a good show.

I would of expected a televised ringwalk for degale, but the less words from McDonald the better really,he was awful again last night.

'This is weeeemmmbbblllllleeeeyyyy'

Well I might be the odd one out in many ways here but I will say that's the best PPV I've ever bought in regards scale of event and fluidity.

McDonnell,Mitchell, degale and main event were all matched well,we had 4 stoppages,2 of them highlight reel knockouts.the fights rolled nicely so we always had action and no unnecessary hype, malignaggi was a big bonus, and the standard of boxing was overall very good.

Negatives were-biased commentary (and I love jim watt) and adverts (it's PPV for fucks sake)

But I repeat, this was by far the best PPV I've ever bought from this country, and it was miles above the fare given out on froch/Kessler 2 and froch/groves 1 when the main event saved shocking programming.

Matchmaking was very good, the opponents Hearn provided were unknown quantities mainly yet very capable.lets be positive eh,this was top draw by matchroom.
Agree,I was at Wembley and it was a good change to not to have pointless waiting about between fights. The night went quick and it was an enjoyable night.I`m sure time flew by for people watching the ppv, people want to see fights not hype like the bad old days of Haye-Harrison touch screen fiasco.
