damn they basically said Pacquiao is so boring that they had to cut it to 1 episode
bop gon get angry, say hbo is half azzing the promotions, go on a tirade, and head back to Showtime

sort of like the mgm incident

The quality and exclusive wore off for me. But having said that people actually watch the show. I know plenty who hardly make the fight but can tell me all about boxers because of this drama series

Why promote a fight that will end in Algieri suffering a one sided beating (again).
We don't know that yet? You can always convince the casuals that it's going to be a good, close fight with the right promotion.

Algieri seems quite marketable to me. White-American, good looking dude (no ****), smart, has a black belt in a martial art, former kickboxing champion, he's basically the fucking Karate Kid, and he beat the Russian Killer that Pac didn't want to fight. :deal

I think it's worth them pushing Algieri on the basis that Pacquiao is beatable and it wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility for him to cause an upset. That said Pacquiao's popularity is waning itself so any promotion probably won't make a difference to the actual numbers for this fight, and they can always start pushing Chris afterwards should he get the W.

I stopped watching these years ago. Only so many times you can watch Floyd or Manny do the same shit over and over again.

They need to freshen the build up show up imo. I think a discussion panel between old pros, coaches, journalists etc with them breaking down the fight and looking at previous fights would be better. COuld still get some training shit in their with interviews and some 24/7 style workings but be a more informative show rather than a celebrity rip off show.
