Eddie Hearn has agreed to speak to the Nuthouse Podcast

I'll wait until I hear what he has to say before giving him any credit, lets be honest the chances are, he will just spill out his usual casual pr related bullshit and look down on us, I have faith in the presenters to see past that and call him on it, this is a big interview for Hearn if he is ever going to regain the boxing fans trust, I'm not sure he's capable of being anything other than the smug deluded greedy prick he obviously is.

I think he must know he has come across as a nob lately on Twitter and IFL,an acknowledgment that he was a prick to Wikio would go a long way to regaining a little bit of support.That last IFL interview was truly awful.

I already give Eddie massive respect for doing interviews and interacting with fans.

Yes this is a hardcore fans podcast, but Eddie clearly intends to pull the wool over their/our eyes. Eddie is a PR genius and this stuff is meat and drink to him. This a guy who met up with his biggest hater Brian King and bought him lunch. That takes some front to do. Eddie even invites people to phone the office and discuss issues.

I'm not having a go at Eddie or the Nuthouse guys, i'm having a go at the usual fan boys. Why give Eddie extra credit for doing something he already does? He gets credit from me for doing this stuff in the first place.

Hes going to manipulate the questions and talk about figures or Sky. That's how he'll get out of it. Just remember the profit they both made from Froch-Groves 2 6 months ago.

Because this isn't something he normally does, the option is always there with the IFL videos to get Kugan to edit it if the need ever arises and whilst Kugan does ask him probing questions there is never any hint of hostility, this may not be case here.

As for the fanboy comment, the people who are giving him credit have also been some of his biggest detractors in recent weeks.

There's a possible chance you will get at least 50 from me, if you use just one I'll be pleased, tell him I'm his biggest fan before hand and that I wear my fightpass t-shirt to bed everynight.

Because we cannot hear or see those conversations. This time he is communicating publicly with the hardcore fans in a forum that is not constrained to 140 characters.

If I was an advisor to Hearn I'd certainly be advising him against going on the show. I don't see what he's got to gain from it? There's no way he can pull the wool over the eyes of the panel. His PR bullshit won't work.

As a guess, I reckon he's gonna pin this on Sky & the "needs of his broadcaster"

it won't be live mate, we were going to try and put the Al Bernstein interview out live yesterday but there is an issue with the new version of Mixlr, it sometimes won't pick up other people on the call so Kurt is then got to fiddle around with the channels.

it would ultimately play havoc with the recording, so minimise any problems we are going to do the interview then release its as a Thursday show.

These guys are genuine boing fans not trolls like Brian King who knows nothing about boxing,who go giddy when he meets Hearn.This will be tough and I think he have have to be very candid and a bit humble to come across well on this podcast.Fairplay for acknowledging and giving credit that Hearn interacts with fans more then any other promoter.He could completely ignore this podcast and the hardcore if he wanted to like the others do, but he`s biting the bullet and if he thinks this will be easy for him and that he can pull the wool over peoples eyes this time, he`s got another thing coming
