“Sky are trying to rearrange things so we will see,†Peter exclusively told World Boxing News.

“At the moment, they are saying Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte are December 12 and November clashes with that date, but you would expect a world heavyweight title fight would be above two guys with not even a British title to their name, but there we are.

“Right now, November 28 looks like the date we are looking at, but nothing is official yet,†he added.

Joshua is the biggest draw in uk boxing. I don't think Fury v Wlad would add many more buys. Most of the people who will buy the Fury fight will already be buying Joshua's fight.

Although it will add value for the punters who are indecisive about about buying.
I think it would add more buys, but it won't be 100% more which is probably the increase it would need to not decrease either K2 or Joshuas purses.

This was the reason why I was convinced they wouldn't do a split site PPV. I never expected them to share the revenue the revenue between all the parties. Yet you reacted like I said something outrageous. Now those same issues might caused problems for the new date.
Please do not try and overstate an opinion I gave. I never acted like anything you said was outrageous. I just disagreed with you, if that makes you act like a fanny that's your issue.

On a different note what you think to the proposed Dec 19 date for Lee-Saunders?
I thought Frank would do a beast of a card in December. This might be a beast. December 19th Manchester.

It depends on what happens Oct 10th. But we could have something like:

Lee v Saunders
Chisora v Ustinov
Buglioni v Markham/Blackledge/
Walsh v Mouneimne 2
Smith v Soro
Flanagan
Paul Butler in good fight
Bradley Skeete in with a name

It will be pretty stacked.

Now that would be a decent PPV.....no wait it'd be part of the subscription.

The issue for Sky is that putting the Fury and Joshua fights on the same card wouldn't generate double the buys as one of those shows individually, because ultimately it's the same market and potential audience. There aren't two separate groups who will come together.

So while it would be good for customers, Sky - and the fighters - will make less money than if the ppvs were separate.

How big of a draw is he? What were the Cornish viewing figures? And if they were high it doesn't automatically mean he will do the same or similar on PPV. Wlad Fury added to headline that card would boost sales 10 fold.

AJ vs Whyte is not anywhere close to a PPV fight. People don't know who Dillian Whyte is. You hear the casuals talking about PPV worthy fights. I wouldn't even bring this fight up amongst the casuals down the pub.

So now different divisions have a different audience?. Please Shut up.

Does it not then make sense to postpone AJ-Whyte till Feb to allow for a British tilt at fucking Wladimir Klitschko?

The decision to be made in the coming days will tell us a lot about the Matchroom/Sky dynamic. Hopefully Sky will make to right decision.

IMO, Delay AJ-Whyte but still do a show at the O2 on Dec 12th as planned to serve as the warm up to Fury. Run AJ-Whyte as a PPV in Feb. Chuck Matchroom & AJ a few extra quid to stop em crying.

Surely that's a compromise?

Surely AJ and Whyte shouldn't be a PPV and there should be no issue.

To be fair, I don't think that's what he's saying. He's saying you can charge the same audience once for two 'headline fights' on the same card or twice for one 'headline fight' per card. In reality these fights really shouldn't be PPV worthy individually. To represent good value it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect both of these fights on the same card but expectations have now been set low and Sky/Matchroom will televise the bare minimum that they can get away with and still do reasonable numbers.

But why the fuck should AJ be a PPV fighter now? How the fucking hell is he worth paying for?. All he's done is blast a few fat Hungarian taxi drivers and Brazilian bar managers out. Goes to show the stupidity of the casual fan that Sky/Hearn would even think they can do it.

He shouldn't but if enough daft cunts are willing to accept that and pay for it...

:eddie just sit back, get a takeaway and a few tinnies and enjoy the journey :puke :fuckoff

That equates max earnings made in one night , or split in half between two shows. Really the same thing. Having a blockbuster one nighter would generate more interest/buys imo.
