Her record is deceiving. She is the joint 19th best Hungarian female boxer. A win on Saturday and she should crack the top 10.

The opponent is now apparently Jasmina Nad (11-22-5, 4KOs), who is a considerable step-up from the novice Hungarian that Courtenay was going to face. Nad has never been stopped and has a 5-1-1 record over her last seven fights. She was also once scheduled to fight Chantelle Cameron, but it was part of the scrapped Frampton-Gutierrez bill.

She has fought as high as super feather and has a height advantage over Courtney. So it shouldn't be an issue.
Also, what's going on here with the likes/comments from the weigh-in video? I thought Courtenay had good support?

No, she did fight the late replacement Nad who gave her a good test. First two rounds were close before Courtenay pulled away. I had it 40-37; ref scored it 39-38 in her favour.

It's the same with WMMA. The 'fans' are mostly perverts and virgin nerds who are clearly wanking over these women. It's pretty pathetic. And outside of that most people are at best indifferent, with large sections of fans being pretty pissed off at being palmed off with a substandard product. I saw Shannon Courtney fight on the York Hall card not long ago and it was utter shite that should be nowhere near a proffesional card, let alone a televised matchroom show on sky. Anyone trying to claim otherwise is just being flat out dishonest for whatever reason.

I quite like women's boxing now tbf. It breaks up the monotony of a long card. I have also enjoyed a fair few fights recently.
Also, the more its shown, the more money involved, the more women will take it up. This should raise the overall talent pool and increase the quality of fights.
The main issues as I see it now are:
- Not a deep enough talent pool.
- Rather than putting all the best fighters on we are getting some Olympic alumni and a few characters
- There are not as many Journeywomen boxers, so those that exist can charge a lot. This means the cheapskint promoters end up buying opponents from the bargain bin. Usually old, tubby foreigners who have been dragged up a couple of divisions.
As for all the online creeps, there is nothing wrong with finding people attractive, but you should be able to see a woman in her pants without turning into Harvey Weinstein.
Also, you are already online, if you want to be a perv, you have the whole world at your clammy, grubby fingertips.

I think women's MMA and women's boxing are inherently different. Amanda Nunez is a fucking destroyer, with vicious striking and a mean streak a mile long, so if you're indifferent to someone like her, I'd suggest you're not a true fight fan.
Women's boxing is though, for the most part, complete gash. And not in a good way.
This Watford girl is a 5/10 at best, but because she isn't a complete boiler, the weirdo "fans" cream over her like she's a goddess.

I should add, when I say her Boxrec record showed the other woman, I mean literally after the fight had happened, with the result and everything but against the original opponent and the one replacement woman's record had no record of her fighting that night at all. I see it has been updated now, but it's really bizarre that it was recorded as it was.
