Romero winning Marinez by UD12 as big as 118-110 is corrupt. At best, I think Romero should have felt pleased with a draw. Punch statistics were pretty even, somewhat in favour of Marinez. 115-113 for Marinez would have been fair. It looked as even Romero himself knew this was a corrupt and highly unfair result.

That was a horrible decision. Marinez won that fight in my eyes, and won it easily. How that one judge saw it 118-110 is beyond me, unless the judge was Ray Charles.
I'm watching Madrimov vs Walker at the same time, the ref is doing his best to make sure Walker wins this.
Walker has been knocked out and the ref should have stopped it multiple times now.
So, since I'm watching two fights at the same time I don't want to cry robbery just yet.

I noticed there was no thread for Brækhus vs McCaskill, despite the two headline the Matchroom card. Sure you guys wanna see Benavidez, but still... the heading of this thread could have had the other event's headliner in the title as well. :cheers

Women's boxing is getting better, and tonight's fight should be good. Brækhus could lose this one.

I'll fix the title.

Benavidez is pushing 200 lbs here

Watching Benavidez-Angulo now. Good Lord, the Showtime nuthugging team has reach an all-time low tonight. Completely ignoring all the punches Angulo is landing, and claiming Bena blocked punches were landing. - With painfully wrong punch stats to back them up.

I'm a Bena fan, but Angulo won the first three rounds. He's really coming forward & his accuracy is excellent.
Bena better stay off the ropes.

Well, there you go, corner stoppage.

That was the Bena of old there, but it sure took long enough. His accuracy is total shyte right now. With the exception of those nice body shots, he was just trying to punch through his opponent's gloves all night. Probably due to ring rust, though. Nice to see those fast flurries again.

I sure hope he moves to 175. There are some fascineting matchups to be had there.
