Lomachenko vs. Lopez Winner and How?

Fuck. I should have put money on Lopez. I tell you, these coronavirus times are bringing out weird results and upsets all over the place, especially in combat sports and football/soccer. I should have fucking known another upset would happen. Wouldn't be surprised to see Gaethje beat Khabib next week now.

I think some people here don't truly appreciate what a beating Loma took in this fight. Lopez was clocking him with clean, hard punches all night long. Even when Loma had his "best" round in the 11th, he was still hurt badly by a body shot toward the end and then had nothing left for the 12th.

ESPN basically had a wank-fest every time Loma just landed with a few slapping combos.

If only Loma had any kind of power...
Watch some of his fights at the weightclass he belongs at.

He's feather-fisted versus guys way bigger than him
Fixed that for you

Maybe Loma is just too small for this weight class
Maybe? Was apparent back when he fought Pedraza and Campbell.

Seriously it's kinda sad how Loma fight's way above his own weightclass yet very few are aware of this let alone appreciate and respect him for it.
I always had major respect for Chris Byrd jumping from middleweight to heavyweight and basically spending the biggest part of his career that weight.

Bullshit, Loma didn't show up tonight. No excuse

People acknowledge all of this, but when you are happy to sit there and listen to people suggest he is the most talented fighter of all time, and the best fighter on the planet P4P, you can't then claim he is some type of victim when he falls short at a higher weight class. And it's not like it was even against a P4P rated opponent, Lopez is a young man who nobody thought was going to win. And we are talking 5lbs. This isn't Roy going from LHW to HW.

The jump was much bigger for Loma, who's actually more of a natural minimumweight.
