Most commonly-accepted P4P guys have completely dominated at least 2 divisions.Would Usyk need to beat Fury to be considered P4P #1 as well or just Joshua is enough to displace Canelo?
Canelo hasn't really dominated 160 or 154, though. Arguably lost to Lara and Golovkin. Usyk has dominated just about everyone except Briedis. Most commonly-accepted P4P guys have completely dominated at least 2 divisions.
Just beating AJ doesn't quite get it done.
Pretty Bold. Someone is gonna look pretty silly if AJ KO's him now.Let's see we have an unbeaten Eastern euro master boxer with literally zero weaknesses, An ATG resume and papachenko in his corner vs a big stiff, chinny bodybuilder with no stamina.
Oh really hard pick yeah I might go Usyk ko.
I agree that Usyk may not quite have the power to slug it out with the likes of AJ, Fury, Wilder, etc. Bit two points:I think Usyk would be great in the old days when HW were in the 14-15 stone range and could easily be HW champ. I just don't think he will be able to live with the power AJ has at 17 stone. Obviously I'm in the minority as there is a 2-1 vote in favor of Usyk but this site has always been pretty anti-AJ. I presume there will be a rematch clause so if Usyk wins we will see a second fight in likely Feb. I would expect that if AJ were to lose both he would retire and the Usyk will fight the winner of Fury/Wilder III for the Undisputed in July/August 2021 in Vegas.
Usyk will stop Joshua unless Joshua fights super cautious and runs a lot, he will be tagging him with big shots frequently, and yeah his lack of size will allow The bodybuilder to take a couple more shots than he would vs a full sized heavy but after taking a few clean he will start to crumble, his chin is made from the finest bone ChinaI agree that Usk may not quite have the power to slug it out with the likes of AJ, Dury, Wilder, etc. Bit two points:
1: Usk is the same weight & has the same reach as Holyfield in his prime, and is 1/2" taller.
2: Usyk could conceivably dominate by winning decisions. I expect he will UD Aj with relative ease.
But a few things work against this:
1: He's already 34 years old. Not a good thing when your success depnds on athleticism and reflexes.
2: Every fight that goes to the cards is at the mercy of the monsters that run things. IMO, boxing today is more corrupt than at any time in history. They barely even try to hide it any longer.
- Expect Usyk to beat AJ on points, then "lose" to AJ on point in the rematch, then everybody gets rich off of the lucrative trilogy.
Meanwhile, neither of them has to face Wilder or Fury. YAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Outside of the Temple shot from Ruiz, AJ has survived being rocked by both Wlad and Povetkin, Usyk will have less power than both of them as a much small HW so I wouldn't be so confident on the collapse.Usyk will stop Joshua unless Joshua fights super cautious and runs a lot, he will be tagging him with big shots frequently, and yeah his lack of size will allow The bodybuilder to take a couple more shots than he would vs a full sized heavy but after taking a few clean he will start to crumble, his chin is made from the finest bone China
NahMy dad was pissed when I said this fight was happening. Said Usyk is too small and this will look like Canelo/Khan .
It's likely his last fight full stopThis is likely Joshua's last fight on Sky who have been showing him since his pro debut
No, Eddie's sorted out a rematch clause to ensure that come hell or high water Joshua will still be holding 3 belts by the time Fury or Wilder are ready to unify. It's likely his last fight full stop
He may retire after being dubbed by a little midget with zero power in front of a worldwide audience of millions.
He wont retire after one fight as even if it's a bad loss Usyk gleaming resume makes it not an embarassment. He will take a rematch and if loses that will go enjoy his ÂŁ150m.It's likely his last fight full stop

I dunno where you get the idea that AJ has a suspect chin. He took some HUGE shots from Wlad and kept going. The bodybuilder to take a couple more shots than he would vs a full sized heavy but after taking a few clean he will start to crumble, his chin is made from the finest bone China
Fat Andy cannot bang, other than AJ he has no notable stoppages and he got beat the fuck up in exchanges with a 40 year old Areolla until Areolla gassed, you know, because he's 40.I dunno where you get the idea that AJ has a suspect chin. He took some HUGE shots from Wlad and kept going.
And in the first Ruiz fight, the initial KD only happened after basically three flush hooks in a row. - And Fat Andy can BANG.
Bone China?
