Fat Andy cannot bang, other than AJ he has no notable stoppages and he got beat the fuck up in exchanges with a 40 year old Areolla until Areolla gassed, you know, because he's 40.

Ruiz Jr is just an average heavy who got massively overrated because he caught the chinny fraud.
I think that is more because most opponents don't try and finish him like AJ did. AJ was too rash and assumed he could finish him as he had most opponents before. Ruiz has very fast hands and is a dangerous opponent but most of his opponents haven't had enough gumption to attack and therefore give him any opportunities for stoppages they just let him win by points.

You really do get off on slagging off AJ despite the fact he has by far and away the best resume of any active heavyweight.

The don't have to. He's getting knocked out.
The big stiff bodybuilder from Watford is getting planted flat on his back, by the cruiserweight maestro, one of the most skilled to ever do it.

Speed, angles, movement, timing, the difference in skill is dicombobulating.

There is no way some big dumb idiot from Watford who spends all day doing bicep curls and eating chicken and sweet potato while listening to grime is gonna beat no legendary historical ATG like Usyk, who btw IS THE GREATEST CRUISERWEIGHT IN HISTORY.

It's not happening, Joshua falls I GUARENTEE IT.

I don't know if you're a Usyk fanboy or Joshua hater, but whatever you're you better start thinking clearly.
Like a tank, Joshua is going match over this Usyk fellow.
Also, Usky being the greatest cruiserweight while Holyfield is still breathing is sorry attempt at comedy.

You call Joshua a dumb idiot, but that "dumb idiot" was a able to pick up boxing at quite a relative late age in boxing and became an Olympic gold medalist. He arguably has the best record among current heavyweights. You need to watch your language.

I'm going to come back to this thread. You better come here with no excuses after the fight.

I can't see Aj getting the KO. It's possible, sure, but insanely unlikely. Usyk is much more mobile, and he knows that AJ has serious power. Why would he choose to trade blows, when he can use his movement to stay safe and collect points?

Shure, the fix may be in, and AJ might get a BS decision, but a KO? I just don't see it.

Dude is small, and feather fisted at heavyweight. He's also not the skilled operator or defensive genius his fans think he is.
The only chance this fight goes this distance is if Usyk plays a spoiler and fights to survive. If he comes into this fight with the mindset that he's coming to win, and fights like it, he's getting caught coming in and knocked the fuck out.

If I'm wrong about my prediction, I'll come back to this thread and bestow all the credit to Usyk if he manage to carry out an offset.

He can stay mobile and win on points, they same way he fought Gassiev. AJ is probably a little more powerful than Gassiev (maybe) but also slower-of-foot and has much worse defensive head movement.

Of course, Usyk would probably have to win 13 rounds to get a MD, and he knows that, but it's the smart way to go, IMO.
I suspect that he'll lose his patience, or his ego will get the better of him, and AJ will get a chance to take him out in the later rounds, but it could very easily go to the cards.

Gassiev is better than AJ at every facet of the sport let's be honest

Agreed.

I am fascinatingly following his career at HW. And he's still (surprisingly) fairly young.

Would LOVE to see a rematch with Usyk, but in the new division. - And eventually we probably will indeed see that fight.
I think Gassiev, Bredis and Usyk are the real top 3 at heavyweight, skill wise they are so far beyond, and being smaller is actually an advantage they have over the super heavyweights.

I used to think Hrgovic might be a factor but his career is moving so slow I don't know anymore.

Wel,, Hrgovic is signed to DAZN, and is still (AFAIK) being trained by Pedro Diaz, plus he's"only 29 y-o, so I think his career is still on track.

I can't stand the guy because he's a dirty POS, but he's also incredibly talented, for sure. Long reach, excellent power, excellent defense... He doesn't seem to have that killer instinct, though, other than a love of throwing deliberate rabbit punches.
