Wallin vs Kauffman on now.
Braekhus vs McCaskill on in 40 minutes (I think).

Well, there you go, corner stoppage.

That was the Bena of old there, but it sure took long enough. His accuracy is total shyte right now. With the exception of those nice body shots, he was just trying to punch through his opponent's gloves all night. Probably due to ring rust, though. Nice to see those fast flurries again.

I sure hope he moves to 175. There are some fascineting matchups to be had there.

I could not see much of the women's fight due to a bad stream, but seems to me that Cecilia did not box from distance as she should have done. And why 10 rounds only? 12 rounds (or 3 minute rounds) and I think she might have won it. Nevertheless, an era within women's boxing is over. At 38, not sure if she'll manage to come back from this. Guess we'll see Taylor - McCaskill now (unless Persoon wins by KO), and maybe Brækhus gets a chance to meet the winner of that fight?

Here you can see the entire 5 minutes Walker takes to recover.

EDIT:
I'm going to rewatch this later, but I remember thinking the corner should have pulled their man out anytime from that shot in the 9th through the 12th round, it was clear the ref was doing everything in his power to keep Walker up through the end, including randomly docking Madrimov a point for low blows in the 12th. Here's the scene right after the fight before the cards were read.

Just caught up with this. Madrimov fight was great, and totally crazy.

God knows what the ref was doing.

Didn't give the knockdown

then gave 5 mins rest despite there not being a foul

asked if he wanted to go to the cards

let Walker take a beating at the end

suspect point deduction

Held onto Walker like he was his sweetheart during the score announcement.

He was either nuts or corrupt. Terrible refereeing.
