Hearn will make an improved offer. There's too much money at stake, time for fast car to cash out on Froch and sign groves as his next PPV 'star'.
Hearn would rather make Chavez. No guarantee whatsoever that Groves signs with him and at least in Froch he's got a chance to make some money off Froch's ass before he fights Groves.

If Groves wants the fight badly enough, he should take it.

I find it funny how Froch gets criticised for not offering the fight and then when he does, he gets criticised anyway
Oh yeah, let me just take 2M while you take 7M. No problem.

You can't be serious. The Hearn's are businessmen, they will chase the money, which is in the Groves rematch. If Carl doesn't want in then it's Chavez.

Why wouldn't Groves sign with Hearn? So he's going to turn down being a Sky PPV fighter to fight on Boxnation, nobody in there right mind would do that.
Like I said, Chavez is more likely to happen first because he can make money from there AND the Groves fight afterwards, instead of fighting Groves first which could put Froch into retirement, leaving him with no money maker.

Why wouldn't he? Because he's got deals from Top Rank, Golden Boy, Al-Haymon which could be just as good looking. No guarantee at all in this business.

I assume Groves probably wants a percentage of the PPV revenue that's the hold up, I mean a seven figure sounds great but a nice percentage of the revenue would be nicer.

It seems Carl is trying is best to give an excuse why the fight won't be made and justify fighting Chavez Jnr.
Probably? He's meant to. You don't take a fight like that and not expect to gain anything from PPV. He's more than within his right to receive a good share.

I can see both sides, and people are going to jump on Frochs back and slag him off because he is a bit of a bell end and overlook the amazing career he has had.

But the reality is, if this is the fight Groves wants, he would take a 7 figure offer. He wont get 1/4 of that for another other fight and will have to give up options to any champion right now.
And you think Froch is going to make the same money if he fights someone else? NO. It works both ways son. Only a moron would take a first offer.
