“Veneno” Rubio to defend against Mayorga?

WBC interim middleweight world champion Marco Antonio “El Veneno” Rubio could defend his crown for the first time in late July in Mexico. Candidates mentioned are Bryan Vera, Bronco McKart and Ricardo Mayorga, with the most interest in a defense against Mayorga. For Mayorga to get the fight, he would be required to pass a full medical examination, then apply for a special permit which would be put to a vote before the WBC governing board.
