If this version of Sergio turns up, Cotto will be carried out.

I love how he fights on the inside with Chavez, getting underneath and pivoting in to his uppercuts to head and body. The 12th round aside, it was a fantastic performance.

He beat the brakes off of Chavez, and even walked him down at times. Not to mention Chavez was the size of a damn Cruiserweight and Martinez took it to him. He out worked Chavez on the inside as well. He is showing up for Cotto. He doesn't like him just like he didn't like Chavez and the first round will show everyone that Middleweight was just a step too far for Cotto. KO in 6

I rewatched this one today and the Murray fight yesterday. His physical decline was pretty apparent vs Murray. I think he'll have rust from being out a year and being even older, but I also think he'll get some good benefit from the rest and coming in healthier.

Martinez's jab is annoying as fuck to deal with.

Man, if I trained Chavez he would be as great as his father. So many faults you can pick in Chavez in this fight.

You know, Chavez must have been around 185lbs in the ring. Absolutely dwarfs Martinez.
Chavez Jr couldn't become as great as his father even with his own father training him

There's just a lot of raw potential there. I don't know about you but I sympathise with Chavez Jr a bit. He's outed as the rich kid, it's not his fault he was born to a rich family with a father who was absent because of boxing and drugs. He didn't have to start from the bottom so it's clear why this ingrained motivation is not as present. With discipline not ingrained into him from a young age, its a hard life. Chavez Jr seems like a cool dude anyway, just wants to smoke weed and chill with his homies.

wtf? Are you a world class trainer now?
Nah, I'll fill you in on a little secret later once you realise my worth as a poster, though ;)

That's what I think. You hit your late 30s (like I have) and there's nothing like taking some time off. I pretty much take one weekend a month off serious training for my upcoming century just to recharge and be able to train full bore again.
