Lomachenko's Manager Calls For Rigondeaux at 126

WBO featherweight titlist Vasyl Lomachenko and his manager Egis Klimas have made it very clear that they are going belt hunting at 126. Whoever has a major title is on their radar.

"Lee Selby pointed the finger at me and said - 'I want to fight Lomachenko,'' said Klimas, who's other featherweight, Evgeny Gradovich was defeated by the Brit on May 30th in London via eight round technical decision.

"I'd like to see how strong his worth is. He has the IBF title and Lomachenko would like to put the titles together."

But there is another match-up that intrigues Klimas.

"I think another fight that would be very good for fans and for everybody is Lomachenko versus (Guillermo) Rigondeaux," said the manager, who made it clear this bout would have to take place at 126-pounds, no catch-weight.

"We have two Olympians - both guys won two gold medals - that would be a fantastic fight and I think for him to make a comeback versus Lomachenko would be really good."

Currently the skilled Cuban holds the WBA and WBO titles at junior featherweight. He last fought on New Year's Eve in December where he got off the canvas twice against Hisashi Amagasa to stop the game Japanese challenger in the 11th round.

its ironical how Lomachenko refused to fight Walters because he's too big and can't make weight, and they declined a catch up weight, instead he wants Rigo to move up to 126.
nobody likes to fight the big ones.
Here, I'm goiong to pretend to be a particular poster, guess which one.

"If Rigo can't get the fights he wants, and his trainer says he's avoided, why don't he take the challenge! Or his train needs to shut up abpout being avoided! He's ducking moving up in weight!!" :hey

But really, it's nothing more than a call out. Queue posters to freak out over regular boxnig talk.

the thing is: Rigo is avoided at 122 but there are plenty of names there< after moving with Haymon in a few weeks he's back in the chart.
Loma has basically nobody left at 126, big names i mean.
who needs to move in weight?

has Rigondeaux ever signed for a fight at 126 before or said he'd fight anybody at that weight except for Lomachenko because he's too risky

He said he'll move half way, kind of busting a ggg... This is what I don't like about Rigo. His skills are so good he would do well at 126 but he's ducking that division. I believe his quote was I'll fight anyone from 126 @ 124 or something similar.

But whatever not everyone can be great multi divisional champ like ATGs Marquez pacquiao mayweather etc... Rigo can keep hiding at 122 instead of moving to a more lucrative division.

thing is Rigondeaux weighs from 124-126 on fight night and walks around that weight. He's already fighting above his natural weight class

Those are just excuses, he can put on a little muscle instead of coming in like fucking ET all skinny and shit.

Mayweather is cut up but has sometime been more built like against canelo. Rigo can do the same.

But like I said it's whatever. I don't really care I would just like to see him against some of those good names @ 126 instead of hearing the excuses why he can't.

Doc, not everybody can create a new division to stay away from the big guys…imagine Rigo fighting at 123-124?

It's all good bro not everyone can be great multi divisional champ, I'm sure Rigo can still get some good fights @ 122.

But just thinking about Rigo vs Loma, mares, lsc, GRJ, Selby, gradovich, Velez.. So many good names and fights for him that are fan friendly specially cause of size difference.

Oh well.

What should I hope for to see Rigo in? Who @ 122 should I be looking out for against Rigo.

Also here he is calling out fuckin Walters, who is fucken huge, don't see why Loma would be outta the question.
