Saturday was my most devastating night as a boxing fan and I'm praying Wlad can turn the clocks back in the rematch for one last hurrah, but I can't deny this new era opens up some interesting possibilities

Fury-Wilder is a huge fight and fascinating from a styles POV, as well as a massive test of both guys. Wilder could become the unified champ of the world, which for me is preferable to Fury because his style is better to watch. I realise that sounds ironic coming from a Wlad fan.

If Haye can bring what he had before we could see Haye take the titles. I like Haye's chances against Fury or Wilder more than against Wlad, but the question is what does he have left? I'd actually love to see him do it but I don't hold much hope

Sadly (as highly as I rate him) I don't see Povetkin getting a look in, but it's possible. Fury's defense and height will probably be too much for him, but Wilder? On the other hand that relies on Wilder beating Fury, and if he can I think he'll obviously be a much better fighter than many give him credit for. The downside for Povektin is time isn't on his hands.

I don't think guys like Joshua, Parker etc. deserve a mention at this stage but those are potential big fights down the road. They have to prove themselves first.

Exciting times!

Would love the fight. Make it happen sometime next year.

In terms of post-fight performances I think Wilder's dance after he stopped that French guy was great.
Not even close as great as Fury's singing performance though.

Wilder got Fury supporters and his haters shook.
Mad he wants to unify the title.

Did Wilder ever call out Wlad? What a chump
Yes he did

"Everybody wants it. I want it. He wants it. He’s going to come to America to do this fight. I'm satisfied. That fight is definitely going to happen, and when it happens it's going to be one of the biggest fights in heavyweight history."
Deontay Wilder, when asked about facing Wladimir Klitschko after defeating Johann Duhaupas
It was being planned late 2016. Wlad had to beat Fury and Wilder was hoping to finally face Povetkin and then they would have it summer or fall of 2016.

Seems like fury is ducking, he just got all the belts now he doesnt want to unify? what type of shit it that? who else is there to fight after a wlad rematch?. no one so its obvious he doesnt want it.
Funny how Fury and his fans seem to not wantto create a new undisputed champ, and are making excuses as to why they don't want Deontay to fight Fury.

Fury won't be champ long enough for Wilder to destroy & humiliate him.

His next fight will be some bum, and after that, the rematch with Wlad, only in the second fight Wlad won't throw it, he'll be allowed by the mob to actually fight, and Fury's reign will be over.

Then Wlad & Fury will fight a third time, because why would Wlad want to face Wilder? - And Fury will lose again, which will drop him so far down in the rankings that Wilder won't even bother to come over and beat the snot out of him.

Where has that been stated ? Furys trainer stated they will fight Wilder. The person ducking anyone is Wilder ducking his mandatory with Povetkin. Deontay wont have the belt long enough for the Fury fight.

Great post mate. Agreed 100% for me it was a sad night also and I cannot wait to see Fury be dethroned.

How is Wilder ducking Povetkin when Povetkin has twice delayed the mandatory? LOL
