Teo himself saying that Loma's 14-month layoff was a factor (which it was of course).
You're not really intelligent enough to misrepresent my position convincingly.Teo himself saying that Loma's 14-month layoff was a factor (which it was of course).
Pedders will be in here in a second though saying it wasn't
What was his score? What did he say?Andre Ward is such a tool. Always has ridiculous scores, and then flip-flops at the end.
In this fight, he reached a new level of absurdity.
If I had said that the 14-month layoff was a factor you would've ridiculed me. Unfortunately, it came out of Teo's own mouth. You're not really intelligent enough to misrepresent my position convincingly.
 We don't have to do this, REDC.If I had said that the 14-month layoff was a factor you would've ridiculed me. Unfortunately, it came out of Teo's own mouth.
Your position is that you're an asshole.
There won't be any rematch not only because there's no clause in the contract but the champ said in the post-fight presser that he won't be giving him one, he said team Loma didn't want the rematch clause because they didn't intend to give Teo one if they beat him as they expected toThis! Who knows maybe he is burned out and on the slide.
But, I could see him getting going earlier in the rematch and winning.
No one did so you're not alone. 31 votes total, 0 for Teo on points.Did not expect a UD for Lopez.
Dre had it level, 114-114What was his score? What did he say?
Punches to the pit of the stomach aren't "low" you anus. This is how desperate people were to see Lomachenko 'lose'. Now a low blow is a body shot that hurt him.
Yes, scoring punches are the heavy jabs, right hands, and body shots that Lopez landed throughout the fight, as opposed to the much more sporadic slaps and headbutts of Loma.Let's just think about this, you have a guy winning who has a highlight reel of landing punches on arms/gloves while getting landed on cleanly. I mean people here watch boxing right? We know what scoring punches are?
To save Dealt With some time...
Good on them. There won't be any rematch not only because there's no clause in the contract but the champ said in the post-fight presser that he won't be giving him one, he said team Loma didn't want the rematch clause because they didn't intend to give Teo one if they beat him as they expected to
You know that Lopez out landed Loma in the 2nd round 11 punches to 5, right?Yawn, I just rewatched the 12th. Lopez landed his best head shots of the whole fight, and very clearly lost the round. You do know that punches landed on gloves, air and posturing don't count as scoring punches right? You do know that Teo's punches aren't worth 3 Loma punches each right? You do know that Teo doesn't get a round for looking confident right? You do know that Teo doesn't win the round by simply not falling right?
You are the only person on the planet I can find who scored rounds 2, 5 and 12 to Loma. From memory the second, the fifth, and then the last six rounds. If anyone wants to pull out any of those rounds to actually analyse then cool, I wouldn't expect anyone here to want to see they're wrong though.
I have no objection whatsoever to a rematch and would definitely watch it. But anyone claiming Loma won the fight they just had doesn't know how to score a fight. You can't win rounds doing nothing. That isn't even open to interpretation. For what it's worth, a fight that's rematch worthy, imo.
Loma showed when he was being the agressor, he could compete with Lopez. Lopez fought pretty much 99% of the fight on the front foot, on the rare occasions when Loma backed him up, he didn't look comfortable.
If Loma has the motivation and shows up for the first 6 rounds, then the rematch could be a classic.
One of the biggest things from the first fight for me was Lopez's speed. The outright speed between the two was very comparable. Great performances from Lopez.
You do realise you're quoting boxing judges to me right? You are the only person on the planet I can find who scored rounds 2, 5 and 12 to Loma.
Not 1 of the 3 judges scored Loma a single round until round 8. Why? Because his work rate was almost zero. He barely landed a punch until round 8.
Not 1 of the 3 judges scored the 12th to Loma either. Why? Because Lopez clearly won that round as well.

If no rematch and Lopez can still make weight, bring it on!I hope we get Haney - Lopez. Great fight.
Exactly, you don't win rounds doing nothing. You also don't win rounds by not landing punches. This wasn't a close fight, I was honestly embarrassed for Teo and his father when they were acting like they had won when the bell rang.I have no objection whatsoever to a rematch and would definitely watch it. But anyone claiming Loma won the fight they just had doesn't know how to score a fight. You can't win rounds doing nothing. That isn't even open to interpretation.
I am telling you the entire world - including the judges - disagree with you.You do realise you're quoting boxing judges to me right?
