Lomachenko has over two months to face GRJ for his mandatory, will GRJ take him on....
I really hope GRJ gets the balls to do it, it will be a great showcase for Lomachenko
Arum said that they could work it out and there'd be no problem making the fightWill this fight happen though? Isn't Russell Jr. a Golden Boy fighter?
Everyone is already saying Lomachenko would beat a world champion in Salido, and these guys aren't nuthuggers either. What difference does it make?Lomachenko isnt even a Champion yet People make a thread about his first title defence. Some serious nutthuggers. :-(
What is your opinion on Lomachenko's chance in the Salido fight and thoughts on him as a boxer in general? I can't remember ever seeing you comment on him.Russell Jr's opposition has been fucking woeful. Hence why I'm not quite on the bandwagon, even though he clearly has some skill and speed.
One thing that is nice about amatuer boxing that i wish more guys carried over to profi is the frequency they fight. If Lomachenko does win he was fighting in the WSB every two or three weeks so i don't think that would be an issue. Pros need to be more active in general the modern business side of things with promotion, TV, etc is a huge hinderance to that. Sanctioning body mandatory obligations should be every 6 months to help guys stay busy Champions fighting once or twice a year isn't acceptable.LOL he has 2 1/2 months to make a fight against Russel. They seem to have given the winner an extension but whatever. Russel Jr. has the winner the question is if they will want to fight him winthin 75 days.
You think it isnt dumb to talk about a title defence although a guy isnt even a Champion yet? And to think that Lomachenko would beat Salido is something diffirent than to say that he already beat Salido although they didnt even fight. You guys pretend that Lomachenko already is a Champion wich he isnt And you will find guys who think that Salido would win. I dont think will be such an easy fight for Lomachenko.Everyone is already saying Lomachenko would beat a world champion in Salido, and these guys aren't nuthuggers either. Doesn't matter. The fight (Title holder vs Russell) is ordered. If the promoters don't want to deal with each other, whoever pays the highest purse can/will put on the fight. Of course unless the fighter(s) decline the fight. Will this fight happen though? Isn't Russell Jr. a Golden Boy fighter?
Only the Lomatards are making that interpretation of the letter. You think it isnt dumb to talk about a title defence although a guy isnt even a Champion yet? Maybe you can make a thread about Lomachenkos second defence? lol
And how, as well. There's not been much from the other side other than "It'll be a tough fight".Everyone is already saying Lomachenko would beat a world champion in Salido, and these guys aren't nuthuggers either. What difference does it make?
Really I've been high on Loma for years. What is your opinion on Lomachenko's chance in the Salido fight and thoughts on him as a boxer in general? I can't remember ever seeing you comment on him.

You're saying you won't consider it as him breaking Muangsurin's record? How convenient :bumpReally I've been high on Loma for years.
Salido will test him but Lomachenko should win. Salido has been on the wane for years. His durability is starting to fail him, or rather he is still tough but easier to shake up. His body is failing his mindset.
I don't feel this is a genuine World title match but it's still a brave step up.
This 'downfall' of Salido on a physical level is being overestimated. Of course, he's a veteran now and if anything he is on the way down after his wars with Juanma and his loss to Garcia, but one thing we cannot deny was that he was coming strong in the fight against Garcia and he obliterated Cruz with ease - that is the reality and it remains just as dangerous. The guy is still dangerous and he is the type of fighter who is a great learner and uses his experience to his advantage. It's not the fight anyone would want for a second pro fight at all, and not a style they would want let alone Loma who would fare much, much better against Gary Russell Jr and others than Siri for his second fight.Really I've been high on Loma for years.

lol that's why I had to give a response - downplaying Salido. Muangsurin is going down, FleaYou're saying you won't consider it as him breaking Muangsurin's record? How convenient :bump
