did Loma get rushed too early or Rigo was just better?

straight to the point question.

rigo is still unbeaten and has done much better as a pro.

loma fell short although it was a valiant effort.

was it due to loma getting there too soon and rigo was able to be seasoned very well or overall as a pro rigo is really the better fighter?

do you even have to AZZk?

Rigo(e) is simply more advanced

Anyone fighting a guy like Salido in his second pro bout is rushed early, but he risked and I don´t see the problem in that. Rigo arguably lost to Córdoba too, btw.

I think Rigo was the better amateur though, more skilled... and is, at least for now, clearly a better pro fighter don´t even need to say that I know, but just saying...

This. Rigo would have been stopped by Salido in his second fight. Cordoba did arguably beat him in his 7th fight I believe. Hell I will go on to say Salido now still beats and probably stops Rigo.

Way too fucking early to tell. He was definitely rushed, though. We have to come back to this question in around 1 or 2 years time. Lomachenko is definitely moving at an accelerated rate, though, and I believe that loss would help him more immensely than knocking out journeyman in 1 to 2 rounds. As I said, though, I'm not a Lomachenko fan, but I admire the balls the guy has. Let's hope he gets to fight GRJ for the vacant title.

Both.

Loma rushed or got rushed by Bop in a marketing ploy. He should have mirrored the career of Rigo regarding his stepping up, you don't fight a legit world champion, despite how crude he is, in your second fight.

Also I think Rigo is the better boxer and would win if they fought.

For his second pro fight Rigo had not even shed the weight from years of inactivity. He ws in no condition to beat someone like Salido. Noone remembers Rigo's roblems in the beginning? Changing trainers and being generally unsatisfied? But Cordoba didn't arguably win. I had it relatively wide for Rigo and most would, too, if they could be bothered to rewatch it.
Lomachenko could have done it, even though he was rushed.

Aren't you the chap who thought Salido was robbed against Gamboa and claimed many people saw it the same way?

I disagree. Loma and Rigo both had about the same amount of amateur fights with Loma losing less. Loma coming into the Salido fight really had 8 Pro fights including the WSB and lost while Rigo beat Cordoba handily in his 8th pro fight. Salido was also a hell of a lot more shop worn than Cordoba.

A whaaaaaaa? I haven't seen it in a while but I'm fairly certain I had it clearly for Rigo. This is including the bullshit knockdown.

What 7 rounds can you give to Cordoba? Close but clear rigo win.

Loma dont has 8 pro fights. The WSB fights are not PRO fights. They use completly diffirent gloves and the opponents are amateurs not pros like Salido. :lol: They also have standing 8 counts at the WSB. So no they arent pro fights.

Rigo is definitely better, but IMO Loma wasn't rushed. He did go 12 rounds with a top10 world champion and was competitive, even dominate in the last round. Loma didn't live up to the hype placed on him but almost noone could have. I didn't see someone with the potential to be the future GOAT, but I do think Loma has the ability to clean out 126. I chalk up him losing to Salido to inexperience in pacing and dealing with dirty tactics, not lack of ability. Salido's no pushover either.

should of gave him a few more fights to gain experience over 12 round fights.... salido is a veteran and did what he was suppose to do to win.... Rigo is much better than Loma, in a few more years maybe Loma can catch up to him and hope rigo gets old and get to him then
