Frankie Gavin is truly the human embodiment of the city of Birmingham. You only have to look at him to know exactly where he's from. His face really captures the bleak, drab, depressing nature of Brummie life as a whole.
:rofl Quality post. Some of the most miserable, wretched, down-trodden people I've ever met have been from Birmingham.

I`m sure Adam Smith on ringside said that the ppv would start at 5 which means that all the fights should get shown and with a bit of luck the card will finish in good time before the last tube.I expect we will end up with the Ryan fight just after 5 then Cardle around 6ish and Ryder just before 7.He will proberly put on Selby before Joshua then after Joshua it will Mitchell-Linares then Brook-Gavin.

Chaves is a much better fight. Can understand why Hearn chose Gavin over him though, two Brits is easier to sell. 'These two really don't like each other'
But they can't even dare to say that about Brook/Gavin. In his interview last Saturday Frankie gave a typical "Im going to do my best" impression. Like Murray/GGG. I for one didn't think he really believes he can win this, though I do think hell take Kell rounds, maybe even the distance. But,regarding what others have said about Kell fighting in August,I wouldn't be surprised to hear "Ive had a couple of fights close together after having a bad time. Im going on holiday" And not seeing him box again this year.
