This is a comparison of the two fighters through their last ten fights. I didn't make this graph, I saw it somewhere else and knew it belonged here. These are based on Compubox numbers.

Perhaps became disheartened a lot quicker than in the first one, once he saw Floyd was on his bike a lot more. I think he got to a point where he was trying to look for a KO punch rather than win the roundsThat drop off between Maidana's output between fight one and two is staggering  I don't know if goes to show just how well Floyd adjusted to him or just how much less he was interested in trying after having been beaten the first time, maybe a little bit of both.
Also, ARIZA!!! :roflThat drop off between Maidana's output between fight one and two is staggering  I don't know if goes to show just how well Floyd adjusted to him or just how much less he was interested in trying after having been beaten the first time, maybe a little bit of both.
Maybe I'm misremembering this, but Ariza didn't spend any significant time with Floyd in the Maidana rematch, he showed up like the last two weeks of the camp?fyi ariza was in floyds camp in II and floyd's output dropped as well so its not like one can draw any significant conclusions there
