That drop off between Maidana's output between fight one and two is staggering :lol: I don't know if goes to show just how well Floyd adjusted to him or just how much less he was interested in trying after having been beaten the first time, maybe a little bit of both.

Perhaps became disheartened a lot quicker than in the first one, once he saw Floyd was on his bike a lot more. I think he got to a point where he was trying to look for a KO punch rather than win the rounds

Maybe I'm misremembering this, but Ariza didn't spend any significant time with Floyd in the Maidana rematch, he showed up like the last two weeks of the camp?

A little bit off topic, but does anyone have the round by round compubox for Mayweather and De La Hoya? I'm tired of this myth that "Oscar abandoned his jab". If I remember correctly he threw more jabs in the later rounds.
