I suppose that size and strength is his main asset so he's sticking with it. He's never been fast on his feet, even when he was lighter. What's the point in cutting the weight when you're just going to be a "big stiff idiot" anyway? Just tank up and attempt the bulldozer.
It's like heavies moving down to cruiser, thinking they're going to be so much better once "in shape" only to realize they're slower, less skilled and weaker now. No magic speed increase, their strength has left them and all they're left with is a career in shambles.
Chambers found out the hard way when he got outboxed by a 5'8 midget. (Eddie came in extra light)
Perez also found out that a supposedly smaller guy could just do Wladimir's patented octograb on him.

Joshua's stamina issues are probably overblown too, he fights at a high pace for a heavyweight so naturally he'll get tired. And it's not like he suddenly does a Nielsen-Dicky Ryan or a Bruno, Joshua recovers very fast.
And anyone will look on dead legs after getting hit by numerous Wladimir power punches.(Incase somebody brings up Wlad)

Is that not ok numbers considering it was a relatively safe defence v an unknown?

Do we know what his other showtime bouts did in comparison?
Its probably about the same or there abouts i dunno, was hoping it would have gotten a better reception than pre Wlad due to the extra publicity he got from that fight.

Thanks mate, all good now but it can all go tits up anytime!!

Not searching for a catchphrase though. I still use the same thing I've used since doing the amateurs in working mens clubs (which I still do when time permits)

Main event only, after the ref & before the boxers; "The officials are ready, The boxers are ready, are you ready for the main event"

It's not "lets get ready to rumble" but it does the trick....gets the crowd up.

Its been nicked by a few others in a similar way but I'm sticking with it
