ricky needs a fight before he agrees to a broner fight, he hasnt fought for a while and all the issues with promoters etc doesnt help... cant really make a decision until hes a fight and is picking his next one...

This is GBP and not K2. Golden Boys track record in making fights is second to none and that's because they offer good deals to the fighters.
so youre saying that they can never make good offers just because they have a history of making good ones? i'm not saying that it was the case, but i am saying that we cant state something based on something that we know no details of.

How many fights do they make and how many times do you hear about them stiffing fighters? You don't and hardly any of their fighters leave them too so I think that says a lot about them.
Now if Broner was promoted by Don King I'd say you may have a case.

yes but that still doesnt mean that they dont make bad offers, how many fights possibly have not been made because the offer wasnt right? and you still cant guarantee that what they offered burns was any good or reached his demands so you cant use it to say burns was ducking

tbf ad even Billy Nelson said Golden Boy were the best payers in the game, but whether certain people even let Ricky see the full details of these offers is another matter...

i know they are, i'm just saying that you cant state something out of something we have no ideas of what is in it. it may be that it was the perfect offer which reached ricky's 400k demand, but still we dont know that so we cant scream duck at burns

thats fair enough, but we never know about any offer in boxing, so we can never really scream duck at anyone

Boxing would be much better if every contract offered was publicized.
I have never understood why when a boxer is desperate for a fight and calling someone out, they dont make the contract offer to said opponent public, so if its turned down the public can see who really wants the fight. makes no sense

That's a good idea. Too much bark and no bite nowadays. Fighters calling eachother out when they're busy. Case in point at the weekend, Thurman calling out Malignaggi when he has a fight. It's embarrassing when you hear any old tard say "when you gonna stop ducking me?", as if that's all it's about.
