Repeat or Revenge?

AJ vs Chisora or rematch with Dillian whyte next.

He's only 30 y-o, and clearly the best he's ever been. Imagine after another year with Garcia?

And Usyk was all wrong for him. There are very few other HW, even the younger guys, that could beat tonight's AJ.

He still has a career, if he wants one.

AJ - Wilder?

AJ - Hrgovic?

even AJ-Fury.

All are massively interesting fights.
They don't lead anywhere but potential more embarrassment and even if he fought Wilder and Hergovic and won it leads no where, his absolutely ceiling is the third best HW of the post Klitschko generation and I can't see that getting him up for 5am runs when he has ÂŁ100m in the bank

It depends if he can look past the money and aim at the legacy. That's what separates the all time greats from the everyday stars.

Usyk is warrior to the core. Joshua quite a different animal and I suspect he will have some difficulty accepting he came up short again. It will be time for another mental rebuild.
He is mentally done he has had all the Sports Psychologist and therapists in his camps. Still mentally weak don’t see him remaking his his way back to the pinnacle again.

"I want to thank everyone who prayed for me," Usyk says. "I want to thank God for the help that he gave me today because he did give me a lot today, my lord is Jesus Christ.

"Thank you Saudi, thank you, thank you, thank you so much, Inshallah.

"I devote this victory to my country, to my family, to my team to the military who are defending my family thank you very, very much.

"This is already history, many generations are going to watch this fight, especially the round where someone tried to beat me hard but I withstood it and turned in a different way.

"I'm sure that Tyson Fury is not retired yet, I'm convinced he wants to fight me, I want to fight him and if I'm not fighting Tyson Fury I'm not fighting. Only God knows whether I will or not.

"All of these gentlemen here around me are going to help me. Thanks Lord for helping me."

Well he has no legacy at this point? He isn't an all time great because he lost, you don't build a legacy or become an all time great by fighting second tier fights. The only thing he can do is retire with dignity anything else just looks like a guy who doesn't realise he is past it and his shot at greatness has passed him by. I'm not saying he will as sport is littered with former stars who can't let go and embarrass themselves just hope he can see that is all that is left for him.

Dignity? His dignity is not in great shape after he threw the belts out of the ring :

All of Eddies horses and Eddies men won’t be able to put AJ back together again.

There are those who have the warrior spirit. There are those like AJ who don’t and who never will.

AJ talked rubbish between tears at the post fight press conference. Something about if he hadn't left it all in the gym he would have won the fight. Followed by his usual assortment of clichés, half of which he doesn't even seem to understand himself. :ROFLMAO:

Probably means Garcia is going to get the blame for training him too hard. Also kinda curious Garcia was not part of the post fight press conference.

They guy is emotional as he has just seen his life's work go up in smoke, you lot really are pieces of shit. Picking on people who have a million times more qualities than you, a great fighter lost to an all time great fighter so you sitting there in front of a TV spouting off despite the only thing you have ever done is wank over Fury constantly is beyond hypocritical.

I am the only one in this forum who picked AJ to win. Also have never been a fan of Tyson Fury.

Fact is AJ should have won he is the bigger stronger guy. Usyk a great Cruiserweight but not an all time great Heavyweight.

I cannot visualise Usyk beating the likes Lennox Lewis a Holyfield Tyson or Riddick Bowe. Usyk is a solid fighter technically but nothing he does has a wow factor and he is very much beatable at Heavyweight.
