does the rematch go the same way or can AJ adjust?
Funny you should mention drugs. Do you know how Anthony Joshua was bought to the attention of Eddie Hearn? You are either stupid or intentionally obtuse, of course you could say it's a nice thing and nothing else but that would be disingenuous when it's clearly a short sighted idea however well intentioned. I never argue for argument's sake, I have a point to make and it's clear most round here see most things differently to me so I don't have the luxury of everyone sheepishly agreeing with me.
Fury is a bad guy, from a violent family, who has taken drugs and made sexist and homophobic statements and continues to conduct himself like a drunken lout so I will continue to point that out and the fact that most people on this site are blind either consciously or unconsciously to that makes no difference. I wont stop because the truth is the truth.
Well this wasn't about AJ but his pre boxing issues with recreational drugs are well documented, I'm not condoning it but he turned his life around. Fury failed a test for PED's that is completely different as that's cheating.Funny you should mention drugs. Do you know how Anthony Joshua was bought to the attention of Eddie Hearn?
Drug dealers are the bottom of the pile. As low as it gets and that's what bought AJ to the attention of Hearn. AJ was charged with and pleaded guilty to drug dealing and one of his friends contacted Hearn to speak on his behalf.Well this wasn't about AJ but his pre boxing issues with recreational drugs are well documented, I'm not condoning it but he turned his life around. I'm sure you'll make up some story about AJ but he has never failed any tests and you have no evidence just hatred so don't waste your breath.
I'm not excusing it but AJ turned his life around and has been an upstanding citizen for over a decade as well as a consummate professional. Fury is backed by one of the biggest Drug kingpins in Europe, not to mention his violent family especially his father who still should be doing time. There is a basic difference AJ made mistakes and turned it around, Fury continues to associate with Violent Criminals including members of his own family and has done nothing to improve the image of professionalism in the way AJ has. One is in the past, one is ongoing.Drug dealers are the bottom of the pile. As low as it gets and that's what bought AJ to the attention of Hearn. Callum Smith added to undercard. Matched against Frenchamn Mathieu Bauderlique.
I assume he’d be main support bout. Playing second to a fight the unified heavyweight championship of the world fight isn’t bad.How the mighty have fallen !
This is sad.
You make two things quite clear there :Good to see someone else pointing out the obvious, Saturday is all or nothing for AJ and despite protestations on here the he will be happy to carry on like some loser journeyman, Nelson knows AJ has no motivation to carry one as a bit part player in the Usyk show for ÂĽ the money he used to earn. I want AJ to win but I have him a 30/70 underdog here, he has to KO Usyk in the first 4 rounds, if he doesn't he'll gas and it will be all over.
You are only highlighting Nelson view because it aligns with yours. Hearn disagrees with both of you :Good to see someone else pointing out the obvious, Saturday is all or nothing for AJ and despite protestations on here the he will be happy to carry on like some loser journeyman, Nelson knows AJ has no motivation to carry one as a bit part player in the Usyk show for ÂĽ the money he used to earn. Well you just like opposing anything I say! EH is AJ's promoter so he has to talk it up.You are only highlighting Nelson view because it aligns with yours. Hearn disagrees with both of you :
“AJ loves fighting; boxing is everything to him. He loves the sport, and I’m sure he’ll be around for a long time, but obviously we’d much rather win" - Eddie Hearn.
It is you who is opposing what Hearn says here. You are so deluded!Well you just like opposing anything I say! EH is AJ's promoter so he has to talk it up.
If nothing else Anthony Joshua is a smart Business man. There win lose or draw there is no way he is retiring.
When there are still large sums of money to be made in bouts with Fury, Wilder and a possible trilogy with Andy Ruiz jr.
He has already stated his intention to fight in December regardless of the result. So if he loses expect a tune up in December with Derek Chisora or Dillian Whyte. Then on to the big money fights.
You are such a downhill skier. The kind of fair weather friend nobody wants or needs. This is so much BS, if he loses he is a LOSER! He has lost twice to the same guy! He can't claim to be anything but a journeyman at that point, history will have written him off entirely, and they only way he continues is if DAZN have signed a suicidal deal that offers him the same money as a has-been as it would of as the champ! I would never pay a PPV to watch him again if he loses.
I don't see a deal that can be made for the Fury fight because AJ has no leverage and I would be surprised if Fury offered him more than 90/10 and I think AJ would be pretty desperate to basically line Fury's pockets in a fight which at that point would be an enormous underdog. The Whyte II fight leads no where, is a between two fighters who have just proved they are busted flushes and while I would expect AJ to beat the Chisora comfortably that doesn't say much, Delboy is a warrior but his level is pretty low at this point. It's like Man Utd beating Tranmere, it doesn't mean they are any good or it is worth watching.
I will also expect AJ's sponsors to drop him quietly as soon as an existing deals come to their end, Brands want winners not old has beens, they will move to younger up and comers like Conor Benn.
